This is a very interesting avenue for making money as it is a competition based on the physical beauty normally for women though the version of men is more of a body building contest. The mere fact that Miss Uganda or Miss Kenya normally runs for a year before a replacement is made is what creates a gap.
Secondly Uganda has a population of 31million people so picking out just one lady out of the entire population would leave a number of beautiful ladies out there yearning for similar titles. This makes them willing partners to participate and grab the title of "Miss Something".
So you can take the competition to another level by either taking it at University level, District level, Sub County level depending on the demand for the service. No doubt you will make money from entry fees and other associated costs.
This explains why you will have Miss Uganda, Miss Nkumba, Miss Central, Miss Kawempe and so on and so forth. This simply explains that the opportunity still exists and there is room to have more Miss somethings for as long as you are organized.
What To Do?
Call for the girls to sign up, train them on the chores of the game like evening wear, swim wear, traditional wear plus how to attend to judges questions, make it a bit different by including a slot for a question from the audience whose weight counts on the score for the winner.
Remember to drum up support for the show by running adverts in newspapers, related magazines, radio announcements, TV Ads plus all other best practice means that can be within your reach.
